What Is the Challenge

Many people struggle to keep track of where their money goes each month and often lose control over daily spending due to complex budgeting tools or manual efforts. Users need an intuitive solution that helps them not just monitor their expenses but also supports building better financial habits in everyday life. A major challenge identified was how to make financial management accessible and stress-free for users who might get overwhelmed by too many features or confusing dashboards.

Design Purpose

The purpose behind Wallty’s design was to create a friendly, simple app that fits seamlessly into users’ routines. The goal was to provide quick, clear access to essential tools adding expenses, viewing account balances, and tracking budgets without unnecessary friction. Special attention was given to clarity, so the dashboard and alerts would make users feel in control, not confused. Insights and reminders were added to encourage smarter spending, making Wallty more than just a tracker but a true money management companion.

Building the Experience

The Wallty experience was built on user-centric research and feedback, starting with empathy-driven interviews and observations to uncover real needs. During development, a focus on simplicity led to streamlined flows: a user can add transactions and check their status with just a few taps. Multiple account connections, personalized budget categories, and timely alerts were iteratively refined through prototyping and testing. Fast, intuitive navigation and a clean interface were validated with users, ensuring the app remained helpful and engaging for everyday budgeting.
